Description: I never did go back. Most of my friends came to Auckland and our friendships continued. I went to Epsom Grammar and so finished High School, was trained as a nurse at the Auckland Hospital, and a Midwife in Greymouth and Sydney. I married, had 2 children, and have lived in Australia in many places, worked as a nurse and Midwife, learnt Oil Painting in Brisbane and taught painting in Sydney and now still do in Moruya, NSW, where I live with my husband, John Cosgrave. Being a child in Samoa gave me unique gifts and I have always been grateful for those years. Thank you Samoa.
