HENRY THE EIGHT - Francis Hackett (1946) is the story of Henry the Eighth who became heir to the throne when nearly eleven years old. He married six different women trying to produce a male heir. His divorce from first wife, Catherine of Aragon, led to his split with the Catholic Church and set the stage for the English Reformation and for religious battles that lasted centuries.

There is damage to the title on the spine and binding is loose at the spine but still intact with pages all in good order.

ELIZABETH AND LEICESTER - Milton Waldman (1946) starts out as a biography of the Earl, but evolves into a more personal essay on he and Elizabeth....his prime object to marry her and hers to keep him from doing so without finally refusing him.

QUEEN ELIZABETH by J E Neale (1942), long considered the definitive biography of the great Tudor Queen.
It has a penciled price written on the front page and age spots on the portrait pages.

ROYAL FLUSH - Margaret (1948) is the story of 'Minette', sister of Charles II of England, who was married to the heir to the French throne.
