Description
Rigby Limited, 1969 64pp. Hardcover w/ dust jacket
This is one of fifteen volumes in the Sketchbook Series.
From the dust jacket: 'Auckland is the city in which Unk White learned his art, and in this book he has returned home to give his own special touch to sketches of its historic buildings. He was accompanied by M.H. Holcroft, one of New Zealand's best-known writers, who sought for the story behind each subject while Unk White sketched the exteriors. Together, they have produced a book which perfectly captures the atmosphere of Auckland.'
M.H. Holcroft is the longest-serving editor of The New Zealand Listener.
