Bronwyn enjoys playing about with experiences and presenting them through poetry as better or worse, more tragic, comic or just more interesting, than the reality. Sad things can be given a twist and become amusing; touching and happy times can be celebrated with tongue in cheek. She sees her writing as on a continuum from the secular to the sacred, and doesn't differentiate between them in terms of content; much of her “spirit and faith” writing is deliberately ambiguous and can be read as personal or spiritual—or both.
