Description
Someone Care The Collected Poems of Helen Steiner Rice
'For millions of readers the poetry of Helen Steiner Rice is a living testimony of the reality of God's action in human lives. Since she began writing inscriptions for greeting cards, her mission has been to reassure readers of God's presence and love, and to provide comfort and inspiration for countless numbers of people suffering from loneliness, grief, ill health, depression, and despair. This new volume reveals the variety and versatility of her poetry, for in it the reader finds poems on all the universal themes: love of God, of country, and of others; the richness of family life; death; the future. All that is part of the human experience can be found in this beautiful collection.'
