This is the amazing telling of the Everest Expedition which succeeding in getting Sir Edmund Hillary to the top of Everest. The expedition leader was the colourful Englishman John Hunt and this is his account of that momentous expedition. A truly great read. This is a 1954 hardcopy edition with both black and white and colour photographs that makes it very special. It was presented to the president of the Waipukurau Rotary Club and is signed on the front page by all its members. Otherwise the book is in excellent condition.
