Ansett: The Collapse reveals the inside story of an Australian aviation giant,

Ansett: The Collapse reveals the inside story of the Australian corporate giant, before and after its collapse, and during the administrations by PriceWaterhouse-Coopers and Andersen Accounting.

This book traces the history of Ansett from the airline's first flight in 1936, culminating in its success as the Sydney Olympics airline in 2000. It looks at the indomitable figure of Sir Reginald Ansett - benefactor, eccentric and tyrant - who snubbed the Melbourne establishment, and the troubled months between the takeover of the company by Air New Zealand and the grounding of the fleet. It also examines the subsequent role of the administrators, Mark Korda and Mark Mentha and their dealings with the Fox-Lew Tesna consortium.
