This man who supposedly murdered Tania Furlan & abducted her baby in 1996, shortly after electrocuted himself in prison.( However, the police informant, despite being given a new identity & opportunity to go straight, has continued his jagged path of crime and has since been imprisoned on the almost copycat slaying of Joanne McCarthy.) Lewis maintained that although he had a charge sheet a mile long, that he did not murder Tania. His anti-royalist activities, theft, evading the police during a protracted search for him on the West Coast over a couple of weeks in foul weather, bank hold-ups etc. make fascinating reading. He was very well educated, a planner and thinker. His claims of police brutality and being framed for the Furlan murder leave one in wonderment. His alibis and explanations leave questions and a jigsaw puzzle that might never be solved.
