Autobiography, published when the author was 96 years old. Arnold Wall was born in Ceylon in 1869. He became a professor of English and Histoy at Canterbury University College, New Zealand. Besides his interest in English literature, he also published several works on New Zealand botany. With a short Foreword by Wall's nephew, the New Zealand poet Allen Curnow. Appendices include lists of works written by Arnold Wall, and a list of new plant species and varieties discovered by Wall.
