Full 19th century calf. Sound and secure binding. Hardcover in very good condition. Spine excellent. Light-medium foxing. A stain to back page, top left corner. No inscription but 'Manchester Vindicated' written in ink in very fine handwriting on the first page of text.
Overall very good and an exciting find.
I'm afraid my photos don't do it justice. I'll provide better ones on request.
It has two newspaper clipping inside from previous owner, dated November 14, 1930 and June 11, 1936
