The life of Arthur Penrose Seymour, a humble gentleman, and a story that is inspirational and incredibly beautiful.
I did not realize when I started this book, how many never seen before, and contentious issues I would uncover, it's as if A.P. Seymour was pleading with me to sort out all the wrong histories that have come before!
I have discovered the untold story of the family that built and named Tyntesfield in Somerset England, the 100 million dollar house that the 'National Trust' attributes to another family. Also, the never seen before or read before by outside eyes, magnificent Seymour poetry from Farringford on the Isle of Wight, later home of Lord Tennyson.
And my last discovery that Blenheim is not the Capital of Marlborough, even though it has used this title for 147 years. This was so contentious, the Fairfax run media have refused a dozen times to print it, I have since dubbed them "Fear the Facts". This has come about because one of the leading reasons this monumental mistake happened, was because of an ill written piece of journalism by the Marlborough Express in 1865, when they declared Blenheim as Capital, something that it wasn't!!
Many dozens of other stories too!!
Picton, Blenheim and Nelson history from the perspective and diaries of a man who saw it all, there is very little of Marlborough's history that has not been in someway helped by the generous spirit of Arthur Penrose Seymour.
His stories are quite unique and inspiring, you will never see another story quite like this one.
Brand new book, only 80 will ever be published, A4 size, hardbound, 600 pages, larger font size for easier reading(!), two family trees, one dating back to 1066. I made this of a real keepsake quality. A truly heartening story, has been a great pleasure to write.
Book is hand signed and numbered, and can be dedicated to whomever you wish, also has Seymour's original embossed family seal on the front and reverse pages.
