In Hardcovers titles gilt, patchily broiwned but sound, First Edition 1977, Black and White Photographs, illustrations, corner cut from fly, 187 Pages, Privately Published By The Author Palmerston North. A Very Good Copy. Scarce Local history. Apiti is a small township 457.2 metres (1500 feet) above sea-level and situated 40km north of Fielding, close in to the Ruahine Ranges. The two nearest townships are Kimbolton (13km) and Rangiwhia (18km). Introduction- 'Old identities and ex-residents have been interviewed and written to. In selecting the photographs for this publication, i have tries to include those of general interest, especially those where names have been available, and some scatterred through the years to give as wide a coverage as possible. This is an honest attempt to record some of the history of the Apiti Settlement' SCARCE.
