No date of printing to be found in this edition but scattered throughout the book are newspaper clippings l'm assuming were added by the original owner. These include MORE handy hints, recipes and gardening notes (planting by the moon), some dated 1950. Even a religious bookmark.

This is a well loved book but hey it is 60 plus years old and a practical useful book used by many homemakers.
