Wilson & Horton 1917, Softcover, 142 pages, all text, by William Lane, -

In 1889 Lane formed the Australian Labour Federation, which became the Australian Labour Party. He helped establish the Utopian Colony of Cosme & New Australia in Paraguay and later settled in New Zealand, where he wrote a column for the New Zealand Herald under the pseudonym "Tohunga" (prophet).

His career on Auckland's conservative New Zealand Herald, from 1900 as leader writer and from 1913 as editor, clearly demonstrated a political volte-face. The radical of the 1890s had become a conservative Imperialist.
This is a 1917 reprinting of his "Tohunga" columns. A nice clean copy Please click here to ask a question
