Alex Horn has compiled an excellent account of role of the RNZAF in the South Pacific during WWII. While largely autobiographical, from his training to three combat tours of Corsairs, he has gathered a number of contributions and reminiscences to complement his story to cover all aspects of RNZF operations in the theatre.

These include other operational flying units, including transport and air-sea-rescue, plus the various ground support services which are often almost overlooked in less inclusive publications.
