There are 44 full-page, full-colour plates, arranged by seasons. For each plate, there is an accompanying literary extract, plus a description of the photograph. Texts and descriptions chosen and edited by David McCord.

In very good condition, with original dust jacket -- although the dust jacket is showing some signs of wear.
