Very old set of Leather Bound books.
Scott's Commentary on the Holy Bible. I am not an expert on dates but I believe they are 1839, the date reads as follows
MDCCCXXXIX. (so you can confirm.)
The Holy Bible containing the The Old and New Testaments according to the Authorised Version with Ten Maps.

Printed for L & G Seeley; J Hhatchard and Son; R.B Seeley and W Burnside; and James Nisbet & Co
by C. Baldwin, New Bridge -Street
They appear to be in Good condition for their age. The leather could do with a polish as is scuffed mainly on the corners and spine. The spines are where they show the most wear. The binding appears to still be tight but the leather in places is cracked and a couple of them have spilts on the leather. There is some foxing on the pages.
