Two exquisite prints on silk, in matching frames. Frames are in as new condition.
Small size: 9cm by 10.5cm.
Prints are:
1 “The Red Boy”; original was painted in 1825 by Sir Thomas Lawrence. The subject was 7 year old Charles William Lambton, son of John Lambton, MP for County Durham (England).
2: “Vase of Flowers”. Original was painted by Pierre Sorel (born 1938), a French flower painter.
Both originals are highly valued works of art. These prints have been family heirlooms for approximately 50 years.
