About the Author
Leila is a Chicago-based, Palestinian artist and organizer. She graduated from DePaul University in 2015 with a BFA in Theatre Arts and a BA in Arabic Studies.
Leila's debut graphic novel, Baddawi, tells the story of her father's childhood as a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon's Baddawi Refugee Camp during the civil war in Lebanon.
