Ron Esplin's new book "A Portrait of Europe" is subtitled an artist's view of the European Continent, Ron has travelled extensively having visited 65 countries around the World to date. Ron has focussed this soft cover book on Europe in particular, representing 14 countries with 62 watercolour paintings over 20 pages. The book measures 20cm x 20cm. Countries represented are Scotland, Ireland, and England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina. Ron is a full time professional artist working from his studio in Central Dunedin. He is a member of the Otago Art Society, the South Canterbury Art Society, and Watercolour New Zealand. His paintings are represented in homes, businesses and galleries throughout New Zealand. Among others, he is represented in the collections of the Dunedin City Council, the Dunedin Public Library, and the Forrester Gallery in Oamaru.
