Leslie Patricelli is the writer of the books Blankie, Dummy, Yummy Yucky, Quiet Loud and Big Little. Leslie Patricelli grew up in Seatlle, Washington and Leslie majored in Communications at the University of Washington. She became an advertising copywriter after college then became a ski instructor in Italy before working as an illustrator.
