The Oxford-Duden Pictorial English & Chinese Dictionary is great condition, and has been well looked after.

There are certain kinds of information which cna be conveyed more readily and clearly by pictures than by descriptions and explanations, and an illustration will support the simple translation by helping the reader visualise the object denoted by a given word. This applies both to technical vocabulary sought by the layman and to everyday objects foreign to the general user.

Words are linked by numbers to the illustrations, thereby enabling the user to check the meaning of any Chinese of English word against its pictorial representation.

It is great for learning either English or Chinese.
