A quite beautiful original watercolour entitled Golden Gorse by Dorothy Farmer (as per back) Guessing a New Zealand scene from the 1940s - 50s perhaps, and am guessing, perhaps around the Katikati Tauranga area ?? As per photo. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are)
The painting itself looks quite good, has the odd little spot or browning, but basically fairly cleanish. The surrounding card has most of the spotting etc, so ignore & leave as is, or replace the card surround. Frame is retro, with minor marks etc from age but quite livable for what it is. Frame measures approx 435mm x 350mm odd. What you can actually see of the painting itself is approx 260mm x 200mm odd. A good piece of New Zealand art that could clean up & display quite well.

Measurements are given, so compare those measurements with something you already have to give you a good idea of size. There are a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state and condition etc, and to help you decide its value to you & its suitability to your use or purpose, whatever that may be.
