A rather rare item, I bought this a year and a half or maybe two years ago, and that was the only time I've ever seen this set in NZ. The Fall of the Witch-king vignette piece consists of the base, the fell-beast's severed head, Eowyn, Merry, and the Witch-king.

I have built a plinth for it out of foamboard, sheet styrene and balsa wood.

I began this project, but never finished it, having completed Eowyn and the base, but only undercoating Merry and the Witch-king.

If you don't want to continue where I left off on this piece, the metal can be easily stripped bare by soaking it overnight in concentrated Simple Green cleaning fluid and scrubbing with an old toothbrush.
