I was having a clean out a while ago and stumbled across this little beauty. I believe it is a voucher for a free cheese burger from Mc Donalds that I received while in primary school for doing road patrol - "Signs out, Look, Cross now". The voucher is 100% legit!!!

There are a few amazing things about this;

1. How does a free cheese burger voucher go unredeemed for 15 years (most kids would have talked their parents into redeeming it on the way home from school).

2. The voucher has NO EXPIRY date!!!!

3. To redeem this voucher you will need to be supervised by your parent or a guardian...not sure if a drivers license will suffice :) you will also need to be in Christchurch to redeem this voucher (though I'd suggest framing it!)

4. UPDATE: The good sorts at McDonald's NZ have come to the party! Now, the winning bidder will get 15 cheeseburgers from McDonald's, and 15 cheeseburgers from the Trade Me Charities team (1 for every year since the voucher was issued), redeemable nationwide!

I am looking to sell this voucher as in April next year me and 3 friends will be completing the Oxfam 100 km Trail Walk. As part of this we are also looking at fundraising $2,000 towards Oxfam (100% of proceeds of this auction will go to Oxfam). In failing to sell the voucher, I hope I can at least raise awareness of the great work that Oxfam does.
