The new Scissor Attic Stairs offers the revolutionary S-shaped stringers, making it easy to adjust the length to match the room height without the need for cutting. Whether you need to add steps or remove them, the Scissor Attic Stairs allow for easy adaptation to your home.

The LST70X120 is adjustable from heights of 2.4m - 3.3m by either adding or removing stringers.

The compactness of the design allows for folding the stairs into smaller sizes, therefore allowing installation into smaller ceiling openings. The LST70X120 has a hatch size of 70cm x 120cm, smaller than most other attic stairs on the market!

Operation of the Attic Stairs is significantly improved because of Fakros unique unloading mechanism. Once unlocked, the hatch opens slowly without any potential danger to the user. Once fully opened, this mechanism will also hold the hatch in position, preventing it from slamming shut.

The Scissor Attic Stairs are equipped with white insulated or fire-resistant hatches, made of wood. The external hatch surface is smooth without any visible fixing elements.

The specially embossed pattern on the tread surface protects the user from accidental slipping while using the stairs. The S-shaped stringers also double as hand rails for extra safety!
