What do Ghost Pearls Pigments do? Why should I use them?

A Ghost Pearl paint job is usually done to give an existing flat color more depth and a pearlescent look and also can be mixed with base coats to create amazing colours. Use pearl pigments on either a light and dark base coat for iridescent color changing effects. Your base coat is still visible, but it will reflect differently when hit by direct sunlight.

These Pearls were developed for use in any and all automotive paints and Plasti dip.

For best results we suggest mixing in 50 grams per gallon

Few suggestions to match your pearl colors with your specific paint color:

White base coat - Suit any ghost pearls, but red ghost pearl will give you a iridescent pink look in the sun. Blue, violet, orange, gold and silver are the most popular colors for white base coats.

Black base coat - Suit any ghost pearls, but using too much will make the project take on the color of the pearl and overwhelm the black. To get a cool midnight color change effect, keep the ratio of pearl down and add onto that as needed.

Burgandy or Orange base coat - Highly recommend any Gold ghost pearls,

Blue base coats - Light blues excellent with Gold ghost pearl. Violet ghost pearl give you a cool purple color shift in the sun. Silver ghost pearl give a subtle effect to darker blues. Green give an awesome pearl effect over most blue bases.

Yellow base coat - Highly recommend Green ghost pearl for the lemony yellows, Gold ghost pearl for darker racing yellows.

Green base coat - Great with Gold Ghost Pearl. Also good results with orange and red ghost pearls.

Pink base coat - Silver ghost pearl looks awesome over pink, as does the red ghost pearl.

Purple base coat - Try Red Ghost Pearl, Green Ghost Pearl, or Silver Ghost pearl.
