The Sensormatic tap was purchased this year from Mico. It is fitted with an infrared sensor, which allows it to operate without touching the tap. This avoids cross infection and saves water as it operates only on demand. Works when hands are placed under the tap and stops when hands are removed.

It has a single water inlet so is suitable for either cold or hot water.
