Chicken nipples are valves which dispense a drip of water whenever they are pecked and have been used by professional chicken farmers for many years due to a few main reasons:

• Water conservation and easier water maintenance

More and more backyard chicken farmers are making their own nipple drinking systems to suit their chicken numbers and situation because of how quick and easy systems are to build. Save money and time looking after chickens with these easy to install items.

Each unit has a 360 degree stainless steel nipple head that will work from any hanging angle. Please note that these will not work as a side waterer.

The nipples have a good structural design with removable lower parts for easy cleaning.

Each nipple has a rubber washer so you just make your hole and screw into your bucket, or other setup.

The RED colour attracts fowls to find them fast. Works great for broilers, layers, breeders, pullets, chicks, ducks and other game birds. They all love your waterer nipples :)

Tips: Get a 20 Litre Food Grade Pail Bucket with Handle and Lid so you can hang in the run or coop, or any suitable container and just simply screw in to your 9.5mm drilled holes. Make sure to avoid creating a vacuum by having a vent hole as you would on a jerry can, but covered if outside so Mossies don't lay larvae in the water.

For easy maintenance, screw a female tap adaptor to the lid of the hanging bucket that connects to a hose (using hose connectors) running to the outside of your chicken coop or run so you can connect the hose up from the outside to fill up the water without having to go in the coop. This also acts as your vent hole so no need for a separate one.

Use a bouy in the bucket to indicate when it needs filling up.
