You are currently bidding on a Holdem Left Hinged 800mm wide headbail (hinged the same side as the bail in the photo). The nose bar attachment is an optional extra. 90% of farmers choose the 660mm wide bail as this fits in an existing race width of 600 - 720mm (gap between the posts). 700mm wide race is the standard width for races and crushes. The 800mm bail is only used for wider existing races with a gap 720mm or more.

Minimal effort is required to set or release this bail making your job quick & simple. You are able to close the bail while still standing behind the animal with the rope (making it a one man operation). And release the animal very easily with the handle on the front of the bail, just above the animals head.

The great thing about this bail is its ability to do the job effectively and for a very affordable price. Both the 660 and the 800mm Head bails come fitted with our patented ratchet release system shown.
