The Rimu Sawmill is very easy to use because its two blades cut together allowing the board to be removed from the log every time the mill makes a pass over the log. This eliminates the chance of the two blades not lining up.

The blades don't have to swing below the cutting height and this allows you to cut very close to the ground with the added benefit of not needing to lift the log off the ground, eliminating wastage.

It is easy to use when cutting very high logs because you don't have to move the blades from vertical to horizontal. The operator can work from ground level making it much safer.

Heavy duty hard wearing wheels move along steel runners which is an important for accuracy. We use heavy duty roller bearings and quality components manufactured here in New Zealand.
