HUGELY VALUABLE TREE with many uses

Height 3-4M.

A small, bushy, fast growing evergreen tree. An excellent source of stock fodder & bee forage. Good medium height shelter tree that will grow in most soil types, is drought & frost tolerant once established. Makes an ideal nurse crop for growing natives. Favourite food of New Zealand native Wood Pigeons.

Seed requires scarification before sowing. Hot water treatment works well for this species. Boil water, immerse then soak for 24 hours.
