Two pure-bred Rhode Island red hens

Two pure-bred Rhode Island red hens. Just finishing their second year of laying. I raised them under a broody hen from eggs bought in. One has a bent middle toe that she damaged when she was a chick.

Rhode Island reds are a traditional, large breed that lays large, brown eggs. Also suitable for raising for meat. Tame enough to eat from your hand. They normally start laying again in July. This breed typically lays well for up to five years.

I keep eight hens and I'm selling these so I'll have space to raise new ones next year.

Buyer must collect - I won't courier birds. Pick-up is Ohariu Valley, 15 minutes drive from Johnsonville.
