1947 Ferguson TE20

Fastidiously restored by the late Harold Heasley-Rangiora

Converted to 12 volt

Has done little work

Much cost and many hours of restoration

First exhibited @ Kirwee Country Fair 100 years of tractors in NZ.

Northern A & P Show Rangiora 2004 1st palce out of 291 exhibits

Some useful Ferguson facts:-

Fergusons were first made in 1946

1947,standard motor,80mm bore,23.9 hp introduced in September

Turf tyres

Little use before restoration

Rear exhaust suited to orchard work etc

Prefer to sell to likewise collector or entusiast complete

Have a full list of resoration work completed if anyone is interested.

Exhibited in Rangiora Show 2006 and won 1st out of 281 vintage entries!

General restoration notes:-
New tyres,steering wheel,pto cover,replaced clutch,new ring to flywheel,reconditioioned starter motor

Purpose built new tray, all wiring refurbished,new heavy duty battery,panel beating & repairs to oilbath air cleaner,bonnet,mudguards,grill etc

Radiator flushed & cleaned,anti freeze dded

Dismantled front assembly of tractor. new bearings,seals,gaskets etc,new water pump,new bearings & seals in govenors,new timing chain,refaced rockers,plugs & points tuned carburetor,cleamed brake linings & adjusted

All belts replaced as necessary,oil drained & flushed,new oil,new filter.
Repainted & tranfers..

Over 250 hours of labour
