This free standing bin was used as a presoak bin on a carrot washing line prior to the product entering a barrel washer.
the conveyor in the floor of the bin travels very slowly so the product has time to soak, leaving mud/dirt sticking to the product wet and loose thereby making the barrel wash make a cleaner job. The floor web is in good working order. The cleated belt taking the product out of the soak bin is operational but will need replacing in time. Both drive motors/gearboxs are in good working order.
At the bottom of the bin are three valves that allow the muddied water to be released periodically.
