Description:

Before each use, make sure that the tester is in proper working order by testing a known working circuit that is within the rating of this unit. When the tip of the tester lights, it means voltage exists. If there is no indication there could still be voltage present. Do not rely on this unit with shielded wire. Operation may be affected by difference in socket design and insulation thickness and type.

Operation Instructions:

• Place two AAA alkaline batteries into unit and replace the battery cover
• When the tip of tester is near live wire or the hole of a live socket, then a light appears in the top of tester. In this way the presence of AC voltage can be checked.
• The finger of operator should be away from the white part of the tester in each operation
• When the batteries are flat, the unit will not work normally. Replace with new batteries.

Warning:

To avoid possible electrical shock or injury:

• Do not use if tester appears damaged, the casing is broken or tester can not work normally
• Do not apply more that rated voltage as marked on the tester
• Use caution with voltage above 30V ac as a shock hazard may exist.
