Description
Wall converter S. Limited features: Can only be used with a few simple machines:
Input is 230V single phase. Output is 230V three-phase for one motor.
Limits of such a static phase converter:
- Machine must have a simple on-off switch (flip or turn), not a contactor. Because the 230V voltage is too low to drive a control transformer.
- Motor in a machine must be made for two voltages. 230V and 400V. Change from star to delta, from 400V to 230V three-phase (not all motors are made for this).
- The converter must match the motor hp or kW precisely.
- A motor will run at full speed but will only produce a maximum torque of 75% of its normal torque. Enough in most cases because motors are often oversized.
Please let us know the power rating of your motor (hp: 0.25hp, 0.33hp, 0.5hp, 0.75hp, 1hp, 1.5hp, 2hp, 3hp or 4hp. kW: 0.18kW, 0.25kW, 0.37kW, 0.55kW, 0.75kW, 1.1kW, 2.2kW or 3kW) or send a photo of the name plate. We will deliver a single to three-phase converter exactly tuned for your motor. Warning: A motor will only produce 3/4 of its max. power.
Dimensions 250 x 150 x 130 mm. Weight is 2kg.
Return-to-base-warranty is five years.
Use a standard single to three-phase converter if you cannot accept the limitations or if you don't want to modify anything inside your machine, .
