Morgan Variable Speed Engineers Lathe and Mill MORL900
The latest inclusion to our range of machinery is this combination engineers lathe with a milling attachment. Ideally suited for model engineers, garage workshops and technical departments. The unit is manufactured to strict CE standards for safety. The operator has the option of using it as a lathe which offers a massive 300mm swing with 500mm centres. There are six speeds available between 160 and 1600 r.p.m. A range of metric and imperial threads are able to be cut between 11-40tpi and 5-3mm. It has a 26mm spindle bore and a MT4 taper in the head stock. The tail stock has a MT3 taper and can be offset for taper turning. The lathe has a separate 550 watt (3/4 h.p.) single phase motor. The milling/drilling head is very compact yet offers the operator a large capacity. Spindle bore MT3 taper. The nine spindle speeds between 315-2000 r.p.m. make it ideal for a wide range of drilling and milling jobs. The whole unit is very compact with the packing measuring just 1170 x 580 x 980mm and weighing 220kg.
