PRODUCT DETAILS

This is a pack of 80, super powerful (for their small size!) neodymium, “rare earth” magnets. Dimensions: 5mm diameter x 0.5mm thick. (Very tiny and slim.)

Neodymium magnets are about 10 times more powerful than traditional ferrite magnets.

How strong?

One of these holds with a pull up to about 80 grams against a smooth steel surface (or to each other). Resistance to tilting or sliding is perhaps 1.3 that. But if one them is between TWO sheets of steel, it has a pull of far more - about 800 grams.
A single magnet can just hold an A4 sheet of paper from sliding down a whiteboard. The photo shows a single magnet glued to a match head, holding up five 50-cent coins. Amazing!
