This 6" Jet Flare is made from hard wearing Polyethylene plastic. Fast moving water entering the flare is slowed down as it passes through it, allowing gold to fall out of suspension and get trapped as it flows onto the sluice.

Length: 1100mm
Width: 508mm
Inside diameter of entry: 152mm (suits 6" straight jet)
A rubber sheet is attached to the top of flare.
This is laid over the top the sluice to aid gold recovery.
