An absolutely gorgeous silk georgette wedding dress made by Australian designer Mariana Hardwick in Melbourne 2016.

The bust had ruching with a sweet heart neckline. There was some boning in the bust so helped to make me look slimmer! It was very comfortable & had no issues at all wearing it. I was sitting & dancing well into the night & it remained incredibly comfy! I did not feel like I was going to pop out at all & not need to spend the night pulling up the dress, it just sat perfectly. I am a B cup.

The design on the bust is made up of silver beading & tiny pearls. Very subtle and something quite different. I wore silver shoes & simple drop diamond earrings. Plus the beading goes the whole way around so you do not need to buy a belt. The back of the dress has beautiful buttons with hooks.

The flow of the dress is absolutely stunning. It looks beautiful when you are standing or walking as the drop of the dress is like columns. The dress had a small section of chule underneath to help give the dress its shape, but it is not overwhelming and the dress still sits as an a-line. There is another layer aswell between the silk and chule . There are also 3 tiny fabric hooks on the train and 3 buttons on the back to create a bustle.

I am a size 14 on the bottom & 12 on top but they identify it as a size 14. This dress is custom made from the nearest rack sizing. So I was able to view the dress 3 times during the production process.

I absolutely LOVED wearing this wedding dress and got so many comments on it! While dress hunting I felt like I had seen the same dress over & over, but this was something very different yet had that elegant art-deco feel about it. We had an outdoors wedding though this dress would also be perfect indoors. It would work great with/without a veil.
