This gorgeous almost electric blue dress was handmade by my friend for me to wear to my sister’s wedding. The fit is gorgeous and it’s fun to wear. The petticoat has lace on one side only as this is the side that shows and also it allows the front of the dress to sit straighter. The true colour is more in the first photo than the rest as it is a medium deep blue.

NOTE:- Dress will need to be pressed but DO NOT put iron directly on fabric as it will distintegrate. Will need freshening up as I have held onto it for a while.

I had the dress made to save money. However, the lace on the petticoat alone came to $80!

Measurements:-
Petticoat – has elastic waist and stretches well. 58cm fully around top not stretched, 94cm stretched comfortably. Length 77cm. Across bottom of petticoat when laid out flat is approx 144cm.
“Overdress” – waist is set at 74cm full around. I did put on weight so a seamstress took a bit off the bottom of the dress and made the button attachment at the back which allows the dress to open further at the back. This still sits very well. Underarm to underarm is 92cm (fully around). Length is 111cm approx. Circumference of arm opening is 45cm approx.
Material which ties up in the back for a bow is 184cm long x 11cm deep.
