If our mascot Kev could talk, he’d say “Ahoy there me hearties - avast ye, for we be celebratin’ 'Talk like a Pirate day'!”

International Talk like a Pirate Day was created in 1995 as an inside joke after one of the founders injured himself during a game of racquetball, screaming 'Arrr!' in a pirate-like fashion. Today, people around the world join in and celebrate our eye-patched, peg-legged chums of yore, including the staff here at Trade Me. Savvy?
