This auction is for a pair of used Intel 2.33GHz quad-core Xeon L5410 processors. These processors have been pulled from an Supermicro server that we are using for parts (the motherboard developed an unrepairable fault). The processors are approximately three years old and have matched SLBBS processor steppings.

The Xeon L5410 "Harpertown" CPUs are quad-core processors with 2 x 6MB L2 caches and are designed for use in socket 771 systems. They are dual-processor capable Xeon CPUs and were commonly found in mid-level server systems and workstations.

The L5410 is a special "Low voltage" Xeon that operates within a thermal design power of only 50 Watts (the mainstream E5410 processors had a TDP 80 Watts). The lower TDP allows the processors to run significantly cooler and consume less power during their normal operations.

These are native 64-bit processors and they have the following features:

This auction includes two passive copper heatsinks. But any standard socket 771 heatsink should be suitable if these heatsinks are not compatible with your system (due to size or mounting requirements).

These processors have been used, but we have tested them and will provide the purchaser with a 60 day warranty.

The auction price includes GST. We will provide a full commercial invoice to the high bidder.
