Mini-DisplayPort [M-DP]is a miniaturized version of DisplayPort, the newest digital display interface developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA).

Connect your Mini-DisplayPort equipped laptop to your display with HDMI input. Use you existing HDMI cable to connect from the adapter to the screen, etc.

Maximum supported resolution 1920x1080p, 12-bits / channel [12*3 = 36bits on all channels]

NOTE: This adapter does not support audio through the Mini DisplayPort interface. For the vast majority of users, e.g. Apple, you need to use a separate audio cable to your HDMI device. The alternative is our auction for the Mini displayport to HDMI adaptor with USB audio.
