They are great for students who need to take a device to school because of the portability and great battery. Also, they use a fast SSD drive which has no moving parts; handy features for a student

Compared to previous models this has a similar external enclosure, but lots of improvements such as Thunderbolt port, Backlit keyboard, faster processor, architecture and RAM as well as improved wireless capabilities
