Multi Function Cabel Tester is designed for testing RJ-45 (Cat 5 and Cat6), RJ-12, RJ-11 network cable and phoneline.

The 9 LEDs show you exactly which wire is connected right or which wire is missing. This is improved comparing with the old 4 LEDs one. This cable tester is used to test wire discontinuity, short circuit and wrong connection.

The tester included one master and one remote unit. The cable tester can test cable up to 1000 ft by using the remote unit. It also included a power switch button so that it will not waste battery. Automatic scan mode is also available within the tester so that rapid scanning can be done. It is not fake, low quality one.

The base unit of the cable tester can be connected via a network cable directly to a hub or switch to test wire connections, or to a network card to test the send receive pairs of wires, it can test if there is any open or miss-wire without the remote kit.
