Description
A pair of EMC CX4 Fibre Channel SANs, around 4 years old, no longer covered by the EMC warranty. Each of the units have 30x1TB 7.2K SATA drives and 42x450GB 15K SAS drives, to the total raw capacity across is around 96TB. I have upgraded the disk / unit firmware to the latest before decommissioning. If the shelves are consolidated into one SAN and mirroring is not enabled the usable capacity is around 60-65TB with some spare drives.
