This is a 4 piece cover made from durable high grade black plastic with a Green silicone rubber cover that wraps around the plastic case giving extra protection. The screen clips over the top of the silicon cover (as pictured). It comes with a light-weight removable kick-stand that has Green silicone rubber "feet" There is a built-in flexible screen film attached to the front-piece that clips over the silicone and plastic and helps to protect your Air screen from scratches. The inbuilt protector helps to stops dust/grime (and some moisture) from getting under the case. This protector is flexible and is not designed to adhere directly onto the screen like a typical screen protector so some "resistance" may be felt when being used. It can affect the way you feel and interact with your Air's touch screen but the screen should remain responsive The headphone jack, mute button and dock connector are covered by the flexible flaps of the silicone rubber cover. All Ports, Buttons, and Camera lens can function without having to remove the case This case may not fit if you are using a tempered glass screen protector With this case on, the iPad Air will need to be charged using a standard iPod/Apple lightning cable not a docking station.
