You are bidding on a hard to find disk drive for an Acorn Archimedes BBC micro computer.

I purchased this many years ago, I think from TradeMe, with the intention of doing up the case and connecting it up to a BBC micro. Sadly this project has languished and it is in the same state as I bought it still. Better to pass it on to someone with a keener interest in this model of early micro computer.

The case is rusty, needs to be taken apart sanded back and repainted. The case cover comes off and is currently not screwed down. Inside is a standard floppy drive, and all the electronics to make it work with a Beeb.

When I purchased this I did try it and it worked, and it has been in storage ever since. My guess is that the drive heads will need a clean. Because I don't know if it currently works I am selling as is.
